Global Wealth Initiative · Detroit · Atlanta · Nationwide

Information is the new inheritance.

The Global Wealth Initiative is the community's briefing on the economy of the future. Every week, Steven Stanley and Dr. Greta Anderson translate artificial intelligence, business, policy, and health into decisions you can act on before Friday.

We don't cover the news to make you angrier. We cover it to make you earlier.

Why we exist

Every wealth gap in history started as an information gap.

Not a work-ethic gap. Not a talent gap. An information gap. Somebody knew about the land, the loan program, the stock, the zoning change, the technology — six months before everybody else did. By the time the news reached the community, the opportunity had already been priced in.

It is happening again right now, at a speed we have never seen, and the subject is artificial intelligence.

There are rooms in this country where people are being told exactly which jobs are about to disappear, which tools to learn, which businesses to start, and which policies are being written to decide who benefits. The Global Wealth Initiative is how we get in the room.

Three pillars · everything we publish lives here

PILLAR 01

The AI Lane

"Nobody is coming to translate this for us."

Tech shows talk to engineers and investors. Community media covers AI as a threat story or skips it. We stand in the middle: here is the tool, here is what it does, here is how you use it in your business Monday morning — and here is who is writing the rules while you're not looking.

Never abstract. Always a specific action.

PILLAR 02

The Money Line

"Every story ends at your wallet."

Political shows have a problem: they make people angrier without making them richer. Our audience is busy, established, and skeptical — they will not spend an hour a week to feel worse. So every story closes the same way, out loud: here's what this does to your money, and here's the move.

If we can't finish that sentence, we cut the story.

PILLAR 03

Local to Global

"Community voices on a world stage."

Global credibility is built from a specific place, not from nowhere. Every episode puts a business, an institution, or a person from the community on a platform with national reach — then draws the line from their story to the pattern shaping the whole economy.

National shows can't do local. Local shows can't do national.

40:00 The Hard Question Dr. Anderson takes the week's biggest claim apart. Who benefits? What did they assume? What aren't they saying?

51:00 One Move Each host names one action for the week. Hard out.

Steven Stanley

Co-Host · Analyst & Educator

Dr. Greta Anderson, PhD

Education researcher (PhD, University of Michigan), entrepreneur, and LPGA Class A teaching professional — a social scientist at heart, with 25+ years spent studying how people actually learn and how to measure whether something works. 1. What do you know that most people in our community don't know yet?
  2. What would you tell somebody with $1,000 and a good idea?
